"How to interview experts over the phone and turn your audio into viral ebooks and online profits."

ne of the most incredibly easy ways to get started putting audio online is to do telephone interviews with experts in
your field. It does not matter whether you are a musician, health product retailer, real estate expert, or sports fanatic running a blog... your website visitors will eat up unique audio content.

And it is easier than you ever imagined to get experts to let you interview them. Why? Ego and free advertising... everyone loves to hear themselves talk. Any musician wants free exposure.

In a second I will show you exactly how to land telephone interviews with experts in your niche and how to leverage them into profits. But first let me show you how to set up your recording studio for under $100.

Here is a device I use in my office every day:

You can order this particular model at Radio Shack for about $25.

Next you will need a simple tape recorder with input (mic), output (headphone), and remote control jacks. Your basic classic flat panel tape recorder usually comes equipped with all these.

Do a Google search for the GE 35027 Shoebox Cassette Recorder and you will find a good one priced around $20. You can also pick one up from your local Wal-Mart. Radio Shack offers some nice full size cassette recorders as well but they seem to be priced more and are really no different than the GE models:

Another option I found (that I have not tested) is this Mini Cassette Telephone Recorder but before getting a unit like that make sure it has a jack for output (headphones) because you will use the output jack to record the audio from your cassette player to your PC.

Now that you have your recording units you may need to check out your phone to make sure it is comfortable and practical for business use. A while back I purchased a hands-free headset phone from Radio Shack that I just love... I actually picked up three since I liked them so much . They no longer make the model that I have but here is the replacement they are offering now for about $40:

Ok you are now ready to begin recording your interviews. I must first mention that there are certain laws that govern the use of recording technology during telephone conversations. Take a moment and educate your self about these laws. Make sure when you do interview people or hold a teleconference that will be recorded that you clearly state that you will be recording the call.

Also disclose your intentions for the use of the call later whether it be commercial or private. State guidelines such as ownership and restrictions on third party recording and use if you have other listeners on the line.

After you finish recording your teleconference or telephone interview you can play it back and record it to your pc using The Total Web Audio Voice/Input Recorder and Optimizer. This software allows you to input your audio and record them to wav format and even convert and condense them to MP3 at various bit and sample rates:

After you edit your audio file with powerful free audio editing software recommended for use with Total Web Audio or if it is already to your liking go ahead and convert your wav files from wav to mp3 using our Audio Conversion and Compression tool.

This will give you a perfect file size and format for streaming your audio over any internet connection using one of the many professional streaming flash mp3 players in Website Jukebox which is also part of the Total Web Audio collection:

Ok now that we have covered the basics and you are all set up to record I am sure you want to know how to get the experts who will let you interview them?

Just ask.

Most people love to hear themselves talk. Free publicity is a great bribe too. If your interviewee can get some advertising or exposure from the call to a target audience most are more than willing to sit through an interview. Especially if there is money to be made or you will be promoting their products and services on the back end.

In fact there are many ways which you can turn these interviews into back end residual income using the tips, tricks, and software revealed in Total Web Audio such as using the 'triggered event' technology unique to the Website Jukeboxand single track flash mp3 audio players.

This technology will allow you to set 'events' on a time line that correspond with your audio. You can open a website the second you mention it in either the current or a new window so that your listener stays at your site listening to the audio while they look at the website you want them to see.

Also using html frames embedded in the page that your audio is playing on you can simply display content such as images, text, animations, even video. Using the time line and 'triggered events' function in Website Jukebox you can even conduct a slide show in the frames complete with any html content you want... forms, product links, clickable images... anything is possible!

Let's say you interview a health product expert on the phone. Now you can take that interview and display pictures of the products you discussed and links to related websites at the moment they are mentioned.

If you were a realtor you could interview the owners of a house about its unique aspects and actually show pictures rooms at the moment they are mentioned!

Live links, images, text, and all over even a dial up connection... something that video cannot do.

You can display your audio directly on a website using the Website Jukebox single track web audio buttons or for longer presentations with multiple tracks you can use the many professionally designed multi-track players and even add the advanced visual tours if you choose.

You could even embed your professional audio/visual presentations in a multimedia e-book using our secret recipe and some of the tools we recommend:

"...over 10,000 downloads!"

I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pre-release of the Total Web Audio package before it was released. I used it to create two viral audio e-books. To date we have had over 10,000 downloads and it has been directly responsible for adding thousands of new subscribers to my lists and tens of thousands of dollars in sales. This is definitely the most powerful audio presentation software on the market.

I was actually interviewed on the phone with 3 other 'experts' for one of Russell's presentations that he turned into a viral audio e-book using a Website Jukebox multi-track player from Total Web Audio. When I saw how easily he turned that teleconference into a viral product that thousands of people downloaded literally over night I was really excited. Clients love multimedia content. So I snagged Russell's audio e-book concept and created a recipe that can easily be used with MYOS to create your own viral audio e-books.

Now that your ideas are flowing I am sure that you can come up with some creative new ways to use Total Web Audio in your own business or websites. Our clients are encouraged to submit their own ideas and the best ones will be featured in our 'members only' section.
